Sherry Kadwell was born and raised in Thornbury and has always had the dream of working in fashion and owning a retail store.  Starting in 1987, Sherry started out on the hill of main street Thornbury. Since then she has successfully grown the business and moved into a larger space that used to be an apple storage building located on Highway 26.

Today, Tigs is one of the largest clothing stores north of Toronto, featuring a wide collection of high-end fashions for women of all ages. Tigs currently offers a variety of brands such as: Eileen Fisher, Gerry Weber, Brax, Michael Kors, Saint James, Bylyse and Tommy Bahama. Tigs carries women’s clothing and accessories like hats, scarves, gloves, jewelry, handbags and shoes.
